China's growing issues with Google might have some bigger picture behind the scene.
China, being one of the fastest paced economies in the world, is also a country that has no regards as to how it achieves its targets. The political and social regime over there has convinced people of this ideology and now they do not want any external ideas to pop up in their mind lest some questions about ethics arise. The popular Google censorship was the outcome of exactly same issue, with the complete (off the record)ban on Google a message to all multinational companies operating in China "Do as we say, or Leave when we say"
As per my own thinking, China is acting like a Country living in prehistoric era, where it thinks that its actions can't have any repercussions. Lets see how far this goes!
